A meeting was held in Drniš to propose initiatives/actions that will be funded under the "Community Potential" program.

Trokut, as a strategic partner of the National Foundation for Civil Society Development, participates in coordinating meetings for the "Community Potential" program within the i3.0 Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Social Development in the Republic of Croatia and the Euro-Mediterranean region.

The goal of the program is to identify initiatives and activities in the local community that will contribute to improving the quality of life in the town of Drniš.

The meeting, attended by representatives of Trokut, representatives from the Fortress of Culture Šibenik, the City of Drniš, and the Citizens' Committee formed by students of the Secondary School "Ivana Meštrovića" Drniš, as well as representatives of elderly persons (60+), took place in the City Council of Drniš on April 8th.

The goal of the meeting was to propose several initiatives/actions that will be presented at the "Idea Factory" in Zadar on May 24th and 25th this year. An expert committee from the National Foundation will select two initiatives that will be supported financially by the National Foundation for Civil Society Development and implemented in the local community.

The following initiatives/actions were proposed:

• Renovation of the outdoor sports playground (removal of existing equipment and installation of new ones)

• Renovation of the hall in the Cultural Centre – "Drniški tinel" – equipping with social games, a table tennis table, foosball, and a painting easel. The space would be intended for socializing among elderly people and young individuals, their integration in creating a better living environment – planned activities include mutual educational exchanges, such as cooking school, knitting, quizzes, workshops, etc.

• Equipping the main city square with urban furniture – a smart bench with charging and Wi-Fi, installation of an outdoor defibrillator, and a notice board.

• Outdoor cinema – procurement of equipment for outdoor cinema screenings – "Summer Cinema Nights at Gradina."

We will have to wait for the scheduled meeting in April to find out which projects will move forward for realization at the "Idea Factory."
