At Trokut, on February 23 at 12:00 PM, an educational workshop was held as part of the Trokut Academy – Entrepreneurial GROWTH program, titled “How to Successfully Present Yourself or Your Idea – In Person, Online, and in Video Format.”
The workshop was held in a packed Trokut classroom, where all participants actively took part, regardless of their initial stage fright or fear of public speaking. Through dynamic exercises and practical tasks, participants had the opportunity to immediately apply what they had learned in simulated situations and develop their presentation and public speaking skills through hands-on experience.
Participants learned how to structure clear and engaging content, speak with confidence and impact using appropriate body language, control their voice and communicate clearly, as well as manage stage fright and turn it into an ally. Special emphasis was placed on creating and delivering a personal and elevator pitch—a short and effective presentation of oneself, a project, or an idea—which participants practiced and delivered, with some also recording their pitches in video format.
The four-hour training was led by Anita Tripalo, a public speaking and speech expert with many years of experience working with journalists, presenters, actors, politicians, and other public figures. Through her professional yet approachable and encouraging style, she challenged participants to step outside their comfort zones, recognize the power of their voices, and develop greater confidence and persuasiveness in public, business, and media settings.
The workshop once again highlighted how essential public speaking skills are in today’s entrepreneurial environment—whether presenting an idea to investors, communicating with clients, or speaking in the media.
