Innovations have become part of people's everyday life. STEM education has proven to be an excellent learning approach because it allows children to come to their own conclusions, making them active participants.

Science and math lead to the development of technology that is then integrated with engineering to make it useful in our lives. STEM workshops are a way for children to learn how to think critically and come up with their own ideas and solutions.
They ensure children focus on logical thinking and problem solving which will help them develop the mental habits they will need to succeed in any area of life.


Critical thinking, logical analysis, research, and immediately applied project-based learning are key parts of a STEM education. They awaken children's curiosity, making the learning process fun and everything they learn will stay with them for life. This way of learning ensures knowledge and practical application regardless of what one will do one day. STEM encourages children to experiment, make mistakes and learn from their own experiences in order to achieve good outcomes.


DAY 1 Micro:bit  science projects ​

Find out how to start micro:bit, program with its capabilities and create your first project. 


The aim of the workshop is to get acquainted with Micro:Bit microcomputers and the MakeCode editor, as well as the possibilities of application in everyday activities. Logical and creative thinking is encouraged, an algorithmic approach to problem solving is developed, precise following of instructions and the development of creativity and cooperation are encouraged.​

DAN  2 Robotics:  mBot and Lego Mindstorms

​Robot provides an easy entry into the world of robotics, electronics and programming. It was created in collaboration between Makeblock and the Arduino open-source hardware platform. You can program the robot's movement mode, engine operation, communication between robots, turning on and off the light diodes and the buzzer, performing certain actions based on sensor readings, and more.


​Lego Mindstorms is one of the leading construction robotics sets and is characterized by a large selection of mechanical and construction elements, motors and sensors. Such robots use a programmable interface that has more advanced capabilities such as storing one or more programs inside the robot and connecting a number of motors and sensors simultaneously. Lego Mindstorms provides a variety of programming interfaces, from visual programming to text-based programming in programming languages like Python. 

DAY 3 Unity programming of 2D platformer games – 2D Shooting game

UNITY is the world's most popular development platform for creating 2D and 3D multiplatform games and  interactive content. As a game engine, which literally means "game engine", Unity provides its users with all the most important features that should allow the game to work, and they are built into the software itself. Some of these features include things like physics, 3D rendering, and collision detection.  

On the first day of game development in Unity, we will learn the basics of using the C# programming language and create our first game, a 2D Shooter. ​

DAN  4  Unity Programming 2D Platformer Games – Santa ruuuuuun

On the second day of game development in the Unity development environment, we will develop a 2D platformer game "Santa   Run" in which we will solve tasks and create animations in the role of Santa Claus. 

The first age group for 01-04 grades is held from  27-30.12. ,  and the group of 05-08 grades is in the period from  Workshops start every day at 09:00 and last until 14:00. The price is HRK 700.00 (€91.92), and the price includes   a snack and lunch for children. %.
