On 19 January 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., an interactive education session titled “Rapid Adaptation and Agile Learning” was held at Trokut, led by Ivica Poljičak, PhD.
In a world of constant change, the ability to learn quickly and unlearn outdated practices is essential for personal and professional success. During the session, participants had the opportunity to explore how to learn faster, experiment with new approaches, and reflect on their own results. The module offered practical tools for microlearning and for developing habits of continuous improvement, with a particular emphasis on recognizing and abandoning patterns that hinder progress. In a world of constant change, the ability to learn quickly and unlearn outdated practices is essential for personal and professional success.
The workshop was delivered through interactive methods such as simulations, role-playing, case studies, group projects, and reflection, enabling participants to develop concrete skills applicable in real work environments.
The education was led by Ivica Poljičak, PhD, a sociologist, university professor, and former long-serving State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia. He has lectured at the Polytechnic of Šibenik, where he was repeatedly named Best Professor, and is the author of numerous books and academic papers in the fields of urban development, cultural heritage, and the revitalization of historic city centers. His extensive experience in project management, team development, and communication skills further enriched this education.
During the workshop, participants worked on:
simulations and role-playing (decision-making, ethical dilemmas, change leadership)
case studies and group work
working in multidisciplinary teams
hackathons and design thinking labs
reflection and peer feedback
mentoring and coaching
creating a continuous learning portfolio
learning based on real, complex problems
We would like to thank Ivica Poljičak for an engaging education and all participants for their active involvement.
We look forward to future educational programs at Trokut.
