"Get Rich with Knowledge 2" - Educational Financial Literacy Workshops for Youth by TONI MILUN

On Monday, April 28, starting at 2 PM, a free workshop was held on the topic "Get Rich with Knowledge 2 – My First Investment," led by the renowned mathematics professor and financial vlogger Toni Milun.

The aim of the workshop was to educate the public about different forms of investing, along with their advantages and disadvantages. Through active participation, attendees learned about the differences between short-term, medium-term, and long-term investing. Professor Milun used simple, real-life examples to show participants how to invest wisely today in order to have more tomorrow!

The lecture covered concepts such as how to invest in stocks, bonds, and funds, and where to find information on whether an investment platform has all the necessary licenses from HANFA (Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency) or if it's potentially a scam.

An informative calculator was also presented, which helps determine the optimal mix of investments in stocks, bonds, and cryptocurrencies.

After the workshop, participants acquired basic knowledge in the following areas:

  • What it means to "Pay your future self first"

  • The difference between saving, investing, and speculating

  • What percentage of income is optimal to invest

  • Why it is important to diversify investments

  • What an optimal portfolio looks like (a mix of stocks, bonds, cryptocurrencies) tailored to a specific goal, e.g., buying a car, a down payment for an apartment, or increasing retirement funds

With practical examples, Toni Milun educates his participants in a simple and accessible way, providing essential knowledge for managing personal finances.

Thank you, Professor Milun, for the inspiring and educational lecture!
